Private track rental at Barona

Guys a friend of mine will be renting the track at Barona on Friday the 23rd of this month.

He has 4 spots open still if anyone is interested. There will be a total of 10 cars there and that is it.

The price is $200.

Not to jump your thread, Reggie, but my wife looked into renting Barona for my recent 50th birthday. They get $2,000 for the day - rain or shine - and only one lane. No racing, just time slips. I passed/ Nice of her to think of that, though, huh?

Used to be you could rent Carlsbad for $2,000 and get both lanes.
'Course...Carlsbad was a dump, run by a bunch of real retards. But still...

I was planning on racing the 24th/25th that weekend. I doubt the car will make 3 days worth of racing but I will be taking Friday off to prep the car. Might drive on by to check out the compition. Whats the price to get in? And one one lane is running? Or are you guys just renting one lane?

Nordy I will let you know about spectating.

My1st I am not sure about using both lanes. I will have to find out. I will post it up in the morning.

So what ever happened with this? You guys still going? I will be in Ontario for a 3day school for work but Sat and Sunday Ill be at Barona making a few passes. Anyone else going? Friday, Sat., or Sunday?
