The brake bleeding procedure with on gnttype.org says with ignition on. Step 7 at the bottom of this link.

Can't help it. That's wrong. All you're going to accomplish by bleeding with the key on is overheating the motor! The two circuits are seperate, so you accomplish nothing with the electric motor running.

I agree. Didn't make sense to me. I remembered reading that so I thought I would point it out while we were on this topic.
 
key off. Bleeding is the same as every other non ABS car. Bleeding with the key on would be the same as bleeding brakes with the engine running on all other cars.
