I ve got a brand new one precision with polished compressor housing-$850. shipped.
 
I have a used but in perfect condition PT52 that is being used with a ATR external waste gate so the exhaust hole was ported to match .$ 500.00

Maybe 1500 it is still on my 87 GN that I only drive to car shows and week ends ,went to the track one time made 1 pass and it ran a 10.85 with this turbo

I hate to but in but what mods do you have that car is flying for a pt-52

Right now im running stock block with 42.5 lb injectors (crap) and te-44 turbo, Cold air intake, stock intercooler, 70mm Kenne Bell throttle body. I bought the car like this except I put the cold air kit on. I'm upgrading to 60lb injectors, pte-24 row stock location intercooler, and a pt-54/52/60 turbo or whatever i can find as cheap as i can. I'm only 17....

I have girdled bottom end ,JE pistons ,CHAPION PORTED IRONS,ROLLER 210/210 CAM, PT 52 ,CAS V4 INTERCOOLER, LT1 MASS AIR, 63 THROTTLE BODY, PTS TRANS WITH 9-11 BILLIT LOCK UP CONVERTOR, ALKY SYSTEM AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ON...

I have PT-54 that had been freshened up by PTE. Never used since rebuild. Went bigger. Turbo is still in the box.

Wastegate hole has been bored for external gate.

$650 + shipping.

By being rebuilt, does that mean everything was redone in the turbo and it's basically new?
 
Keep your 44 and buy a scanmaster and alky kit then tune,tune,tune.Your car should run high 11's running right.No need for different inj's either.A good turbotweak chip will make it feel like a new car.No need in throwing mods at it.....yet!! :cool:
 
Yes. The turbo was completely gone through. They didn't change housings, which is the norm. But the center section was rebuilt with new bearings and seals. A basic freshening up if you will.

Hey Lethal...If you buy 60-65 lb injectors...I have the chips for you. If you do a search on my name, you'll see my post on the PT54. I have those chips still and do not need them anymore b/c I just installed the TPro. I sell them for $60 shipped. They are Joe Lubrant chips from last year.

BTW, my ET with those are in my sig :biggrin:

how about a new ta62 still in the box from limit eng 600.00 + shipping but includes the actuator
