Almost ready to do a trans fluid flush and filter change. Bought a Puralator P1194 filter. Anyone running this one? Any good? Opinions welcome. Thanks!

Evans,

I've been using the P1195 filter in my deep pan for years. It's for a 700 Chevy THM . It's bigger and uses more Dacron filter material than the stock size...plus it's a , "bottom pick-up" inlet.
Is the P1194 a stock replacement for the 200r4 ? If it is , I used it before I put the deep pan on my trans and did ok.
The P1195 has been doing alright all these years too.

Hey Alan,

Thanks for the input. I got the P1194 at Pep Boys and it's supposed to be a direct replacement for the stock one but I was just questioning whether they crossrefenced correctly? I have the stock pan so maybe it's right? I'm still a few thou away from a needed flush/ filter change but just stocking up for now.

Yes, you got the right one.. Just found one here still in the box unused that I bought before I got the deep-pan P1195 filter.

:)
