I have a pair of QA1 coil overs on my el camino and it is just too low. This is in combination with G body tubular upper and lower A arms. I went from a 350 to 450lb spring in hopes of the stiffer spring holding the car weight up better (small block chevy) but it only helped about an inch. Question is, how high can I adjust the springs without coil bind, and would that help ride height? They are currently adjusted about 2-2.5" from the bottom thread. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Try going to a 550 lb rated spring
Here's QA1's part #10HTBF550
Might want to try the 550 lb Viking Spring instead, heard they are a better quality spring.
Got mine from Full Throttle but have yet to install.

I think the 550 might be too stiff. Maybe if I had a big block. How high up can you adjust the nut? Like I said, I'm about 2-2.5" from the bottom.
