Hey guys! So I'm going to be shipping my car to new Orleans around the 12th of August and leaving the 15th, I'll be driving it to Tempe AZ for college. The engine is being re built right now and will be done literally the day before i ship it ( 2 weeks later than it was supposed to be fixed) I was going to put in an f body radiator and duel fans but I don't think they will be able to do those in time. Do you guys think the car will be okay to drive that distance in like 3-4 days with a/c on most of the time, I'm sure it's going to be hot. Or would it be better to just ship it to Arizona and put on the miles when I have the chance? I would really love to have an awesome road trip in the GN to college but i am pretty nervous about the car breaking down.

Heat isn't so much the issue as things coming up with a new build. I'd save that GN road trip for a memory that doesn't include a breakdown. You don't want Ol Backwoods Bob somewhere trying to fix your GN in the middle of nowhere.

Well put..ship the car. When you rush a build, little things can be overlooked and can become a problem.
Better to drive it locally for awhile to make sure everything is good. After my rebuild the car ran well initially.
Then electrical gremlins left me stranded and then a bad maf showed up. All within 500 miles after the build.
