Questions about a chip

Just bought an 87 GN. If I put a chip in it what else do I need to do to it? I'm new at this. Sorry

you will want to make sure any chip you put in is programmed for
1) the injectors you have and
2) the octane of the fuel you are using.

The sky is the limit, whatever you do for performance upgrades tou must give all information to who is burning you a chip. Eric Marshall [ Turbo Tweak Chips] hands down are the best.

Ok. Thanks. I don't know if I mentioned it or not but I'm just trying to keep it as stock as possible. I just would like to add about 10 to 45hp.:smile:

mods

a better flowing air filter, a good 93 octance performance chip, a 160 degree thermostat and an adjustable wastegate actuator are some basic modifications that are very simple to install. they are also very cost effective and will give you a noticeable improvement in performance over the stock components.
