Just finished installing the Ramchargers dual electric fans. The install went pretty smoothly. I cut off the original mounting ears on the side and gave it a test fit. It was still a little too wide so I went to work with a file taking some material off both side.
After about 10 minutes or so it slipped in place between the end tanks like it was made for the application
I used the metal lower fan mount from the original fan as a retainer and slipped the top of the fan under the upper mounts. It's held VERY securely and looks like it was made for the location.
After modifying the Ramchargers supplied pig-tail according to Carl Ijames instructions in another post, I cranked her up for a little test. The first thing I noticed is that the fans move so much air I can feel it with my hand 5 inches in FRONT of the grill!
I'm impressed
The second thing I noticed is that even with all that air it's not as loud as I expected them to be. I'll be headed out later so I'll make sure to make a few runs, purely for test purposes of course
