Razor,
I was wondering if you can use your alky kit with the original braided up pipe or do you have to buy atr. Also do your standard kit come with an in car switch for manually overriding pressure switch to disable the system.
Thanks
David

David, I think you are confusing the MAF pipe and the Up pipe. The Up Pipe goes from the intercooler up to the throttlebody. You don't want to inject Alky before the turbo (in the MAF pipe) as it will erode the impeller blades in the turbo.

Also, Razors kit doesn't use pressure switches, it uses a signal from the MAP sensor.

I am confused I thought that the alky connected to the up pipe. I have a 84 GN so it doesn’t have a intercooler. So would you mount it in a different location?
Thanks again for the help,
David.

Ohh boy a hot air :)

Those kits require a solenoid becuase of the throttle body placement. You can get a small sleeve of exhuast pipe maybe like 6 inches long, and mount the nozzle into that. Then couple that to your air intake setup. Though I cannot vouch for this since its been quite a while since that system was done.

I've done only one hot air that was a board member 6 Sense. I forgot what we did, but wasnt too bad. He has had great results with his setup.

There is another 84 GN here locally, but its been converted to IC. Same 84 exhuast, just the intake is different and the addition of the IC.
