Rear Bumper Fillers

I am in need of some rear bumper fillers. For those that have installed them, did you go with the OEM or fiberglass? Any pro's / con's?

I am looking at the Danko ones. I have heard them mentioned before but I don't remember if the comments were good or bad.

Any help would be appreciated.

I went with fiberglass and love them....

If you go with NOS Gm your looking at $600. I bought some Danko fiberglass and they are pretty nice. One thing I will tell you though, test fit them BEFORE you paint them, learn from my mistake! (And I work in a body shop- you'd think I knew better).

I contaced http://www.sandkindustries.com/regal2dr.html about their $139.00 bumper fillers.

They stated that they have been making them for 15 years now and that they have only taken back 3 of them due to defects.

Also, they stated that they are the ONLY manufacture making ABS bumper fillers for this car. All of vendors get them from this company.

True or not true?

I first saw them on a car at a Reynolds Ga. B.O.P race a few years back and they fit great on his car, so I bought some.... But don't know the history of S & K except they are on the Vendors list on

Can you check your drivers side rear filler along the bottom of the tail light to see if there is an imperfection near the middle of the top edge? I saw a abs filler car at the nats and it had this imperfection and I was wondering if it was something to do with the mold.

Mine has the edges that blend in ok. The person who painted mine sanded down to smooth out the small bumps, but you can't tell unless you know it....
