Rear drum hardware

In the process of installing new brake pads and hardware for stock rear drums. There are 2 c clips provided, but I don't remember taking any off ? Could anyone give me any insight as to where they go lol

I just completed this project a few weeks ago. I used all the old parts for reference, and those clips weren't in the mix. I think they're still on my garage floor .

Ive seem those but in relation to brakes. More like drive shaft

Come to think of it those u joint or where ever i saw them were not exactly the same. Doh

They go to a pin that holds the brake adjuster to the trailing shoe.
