rear end

i found a guy with an 8.5 rear end, but its non posi. any ideas on the cost to convert it to posi?

Depends on rather you want to go with a stock posi or aftermarket. I just converted over to 30 spline eaton and moser axles. With the girdle, axles, posi, studs, etc, etc. Had around 1K in it. You can get a good used stock posi for around $250 and stick it in there. Just depends on which direction you want to go.
