You can make one cheap.. I made mine for about $5 and 2 hours of my time.

For a GNX style back seat brace , email Al at Tylkometal@prodigy.net or call him at (586) 9392410. I've installed three of his kits and they go in easily and work well ! Tell him Gary referred you. Best wishes. Oh, I use 1/4-20 X 3/4 " bolts with nylocks and 6 large head pop rivets along the bottom leg.

Are you talking about EMT type tubing?

Sounds a bit light duty. How many have actually done this & is the strength sufficient?

i used emt but i went with 3/4" instead of 1/2"
