I think I recall some one saying that there was a vendor or a company that made a stocl location rear sump tank for our beloved G-bodies. Anyone have a clue?

I'm new to the turbo buick thing, but what I'm going to do is buy a sump & a tank to make my own sumped tank.

My car came with a fuel cell in the trunk, but I want the trunk back, so I'm going to keep the external fuel pump, but go with a sumped stock tank.

You can buy the sumps & tanks new, all you have to do is attach the sump to the tank. ;)

Tony Dequick made several units as you mentioned. Needless to say unless you find a used one of the few made you are out of luck. But one could be easily fabricated.

Adding a sump is bad.. this was covered a while back.

They end up rusting and causing more trouble than they're worth.

I'm willing to take that chance, I've been running a sumped tank in my LS1 car for 3 years now with no issues at all. I'm more worried about the foam in the fuel cell that I'm running now breaking down & clogging my filter than I am about a sumped tank rusting.

I'll have to agree with JayC. Also, remember that your fuel pump should be lower than the sump to keep it's prime. Brian
