Under the fan relay is a green wire. I tapped onto the green wire and with the other end of my jumper I went to the back of the alternator for my test to see if the fan would come on. It did not. Is there something wrong? Yes, I know that I should throw the relay into the woods. Yet, is that the best approach? My reason for this test is to install a spst continuous switch inside. TIA Jim

with the ignition on, when the green wire is GROUNDED, the fans will turn on.
