remove door lock

I have factory alarm. I want to remove the door lock. The C clip is holding the cylinder. My question is the electrical connection involved with C clip?

Once you remove the rod clip there is a ring that goes around the lock cylinder it has two wires attached to it. Then there is the lock cylinder which is held on with the big clip.
To answer your question there should be a wire in the c clip if I remember with a rubber boot.
