I have experience with using a paper clip to release the locking tabs on automotive connectors and removing the individual wires, but the IAC connector is giving me trouble. The legs of the connector are so deep that even with shining a light on it I can't really see where the locking tabs are at, or if they even exist.

Has anyone successfully done this before? If anyone could tell me exactly where the tabs are at it would be a big help.

I'm trying to have the benefit of this relocation pigtail without actually purchasing it, by inserting the individual wires instead of the big bulky connector, you can avoid having to use an IAC angle boss to move it out of the way.

there is a tool that is made just to remove terminals from weatherpack connectors. it is essentially just a tube that fits tightly over the terminal and compresses the tabs so you can remove it.

Alright, guess I've been using paper clips for so long that I forget they make a real tool for this purpose.
