well ever since i topped off my tank about a month ago, the car has been hesitating pretty bad. it ran perfectly fine til i got to the gas station, put about 4 - 5 gallons in it, then as soon as i fired it back up, it ran like ass

i did a fuel pressure check and it was a bit on the low side, so i replaced the pump. no change.

any other suggestions as to what it might be? i tried the "search" feature, but for some reason it hasnt been working (at least for me) in the past few days

could i have gotten a tank of bad gas? does that kind of thing still happen with todays modern petrolium refining? anyone?

yeah it's possible that you got a bad tank of gas, sometimes if you get gas when a fuel truck has recently refilled the station, it can stir up crap from the bottom.

filter is brand new... only about 125 - 150 miles on it

ill be draining the tank and refilling it with some different gas tonight. hopefully i see an improvement

well, i drained the tank, and filled it up with fresh 93 octane... no change

then i popped the hood to check a few misc things. checked the grounds by the A/C compressor... all good. then i noticed one of my plug wires was hitting the underside of the downpipe. i pulled it away from the pipe and it was all burnt up and cracked. if this thing is missing because of that wire, that could be why my car is hesitating right? ill pick up a new plug wire tomorrow and test my theory. wish me luck
