Replacement Upper Door Panels

I've just gotten the car repainted. While I was at it, I had the body shop install new upper inner door panels. They don't seem to fit right. They are up too high. If you press down near the glass at the top of the door, the panel will move down about 3/4".

Has anyone encountered this and what did they do to correct it?

I'd try taking them off (not difficult at all) and installing them yourself. The top edge of the inner door panel has to seat down into the door in a certain way. It's kind of hard to describe, but take a look and I think you'll see what I mean. Does it seem like the door lock knob is much shorter than it should be too?
