In the process of pricing out floorboards, my ? is how much would a job like this normally cost? I found the new floorboards, but not sure how to go about replacing them? Would removal of the interior (Seats, console etc) be necessary? Is welding involved? If so it is something that relatively someone with absolutely NO body work experience can do? As always thanks in advance for the advice..............

it depends on whether you just want to keep yout feet dry or have an oem look. you could go about it a few ays depending on how you want it to turn out. the best way would have someone experienced cut out the floorboards exactly and weld the new ones in the cheaper easier way would be to cut out the old one within about an inch overlat and rivet the new ones in with a good waterproof sealant in between and make sure everything is sealed up really nice and repainted with por 15 or some other kind of rust preventative which would be fine if you arent looking for show quality since it would be covered up with carpeting. the last way would be to cut out the rust atleast an inch or so past where it shows rust and put some rust preventative on there, rivet the new pan over the top and make sure to seal and repaint everything to keep it from rusting again. like i said it all depends on what you want the end result to be.
