Restoring/refinishing the Throttle Body

Hey Guys:

I have a ported TB coming in the mail. I was wondering - what's the best way to get the outside of the TB looking brandy new. Do I just put a polishing cone on a rotary tool and have at it? Paint? Any ideas?

i used metal polish on mine, and it's nice, dont knwo what a new one looks like though...
