reusing cam question

Ive got the stock cam that was in my engine before putting in the Poston's cam. It only had 10,000 miles on it.
Question is, if I wanted to swap back to the stocker, all I need to do is put it in with new lifters, right?
And.... is the old cam considered "already broken-in" or do I still need to run engine at 2000~ RPM/ 20 min. like a new cam to break-in?

you should be able to run the old cam with new lifters.you will need to break in the new lifters.

why wouldnt he be able to run the old stock with the original lifters that were in there if they were all put right back in the original positions?
