RJC Boost Controller install

Hey guys,

I did some searching on the site, and saw a few threads about the boost controller but I didn't want to resurrect any threads.

I just got an RJC boost controller and I have read there are 2 ways to install it. One with removing the Y one without.
My question is, which way is better or the most used by you guys with the controller? And if using the method that removes the Y, do I have to cap off something?
