whats the spec for clearence bettewen rocker and valve cant find it in my book

what lifter

you set clearance ( lash) on solid lifters not hydraulic lifter

hydraulic stock lifter there shouldnt be any lash , you need to set preload around .030 though it really doesnt matter if its more or little less as long as there is preload

for proper preload using an adjustable pushrod with cam at base adjust rod until there is zero lash , then add to the length the desired amount of preload.
on adjustable checker 1 turn = .050" so from zero lash measurement spin tip out about 1/2-3/4 turn and that new length is what length you need for pushrods

i dint word my self righ ti dont think my cylender nmber 2 rockers are loose is there a a gap that needs to be set of a tp spec for them

ok so my noise was noting to do with rockers in the end hahahaha my water pump is so bad that its making a knocking noise transfering trew the engine so cancel my last
