rocker arm ratios

I recently broke a rocker shaft and I figure when I replace it if there is a significant gain in 1.5,1.6 or 1.7 ratios, I would go that route. This is on an 11.0 @ 120+ mph. car. Any input or experience here is greatly appreciated. By the way, at very least, I need a complete rocker shaft in great cond. T.I.A.
