I just shelled out some bucks for new convo pros and hoosier tires and with 1/2'' spacers on the rear they rub on the frame.

I have the following specs:

Fronts:
15 x 4.5
2.25 back spacing
4.75 bolt pattern
28 x 4.5 x 15 tire
Rear:
15 x 8
4.75 back spacing
4.75 bolt pattern
30x9x15 tire

Where the heck did I go wrong??? And how can I correct this?

Thanks

Notch the frame.

Plasma cutter plus a welder equals no rubbing anymore. Im gonna do mine soon so I dont have to run spacers with the slicks.

Too much backspace on those rear rims, 1/2" spacer ain't enough. I don't like spacers. 3.5" backspace would probably do it, but that means new rims. Have you thought about airbags? I suppose you could go to 1" spacers, but I sure would like to see 1/2" wheels studs with them. HTH.

I may have to notch the frame. I am not going to use wheel spacers for 1.4 short times.
