what scan tool would you guys recomend i just got an 86 gn and i am in the process of building a 69 camaro with 87 drivetrain so it would be nice if i only had to buy one to use on both ,thanks....

A scanmaster should be a standard mod for all turbo buicks. Its basic, but gives you most of the info you need. Once you start running low 12's then you might want to look at direct scan and a WB 02, but for the basics a scanmaster can't be beat. You can also wire up the power to an old cigerette lighter plug and move it from car to car without much trouble.
