I finally decided to take out the roll cage in my 87, but I need the seatbelt mechanism for the drivers side when I cut it out. Anyone got one they wanna get rid of? thanks

You going to change the lower door panels too? Make sure you cut it out carefully, if you do it right you could save it for a day when you need it re-installed. GL.

I dont see how I can reuse the cage, if that is what you are referring to. It is welded to the frame and I do not see how I can take it out the vehicle without cutting it into several pieces. Let me know if you know something I dont. Thanks

What I meant by what I said was if you cut it close to or on top of all of the welds (preferrably on the weld), you stand a chance of being able to have it re-welded into the same car or possibly another. Those peices that went in there and got welded up were just as large as they are now so there shouldn't be a problem taking it out of the car if you cut it at the welds at the frame and of each peice.
