Where is a place that I can get a complete service manual for a 87 gn? Not a Haynes or Chilton. Thanks, Mike

Thanks for the info. Mike

The original GM Buick Chassis Manuals pop up on ebay quite often.... usually end up around $60-$70.... think there's one there now....

Here's one: eBay Motors: 1986 Buick & Grand National GN Shop Manual Set 86 NEW! (item 160238471994 end time May-14-08 17:19:23 PDT)

Price is a bit high, but this one looks to be brand-spankin' new. They're about $100 from Helm if I remember right, maybe more, AND if they ever get them back in stock.... they've been out for a long time now. Supposedly, they will do another print run, though.
Anyway, this is what you are looking for. The '86 and '87 are essentially identical. I saw one last week, used but fine, that went for like $55, plus another $20 or so shipping.... They are HUGE and heavy. HTH!

IMQuik - where are you? I have the service manual - it is still in the box, it came with the car when I bought it years ago.

Shipping will be a killer as it is an anchor!

I am in Brandon, MS area code 39042. What would take for it? It is a 1987 manual? Thanks

Just ordered mine...Thanks

The factory manual I got from Helm was for every car Buick made that year. I separated out everything for the turbo regal and it fits nicely in a 3", 3 ring binder I take with me on the 800 mile trip to the Nats, just in case. Everything else is in the original box up in the attic.

Sorry,

I was away for the weekend - I can send pictures if you want. It is the 87 Service Manual, still in the box.

I will take $100 plus shipping, the '86 manual on ebay just went for $125.

Shipping isn't that expensive if you send it "media mail" I don't know what the difference is, but you can mail books, tapes and CD's for REALLY cheap. Check with the post office. Mine only cost less than $10 to ship

fitz, Im interested in the manual I live in MA and could pick it or have it shipped let me know.
