To the guys that shaved their steel bumpers. What did you do with the trim around the marker lights? When you remove the rubber bumper strip, the marker light trim ring sticks out and looks stupid. I think I'm going to have to grind it down and re-sculpt it to line up on top. Has anybody run into this before??????

When i did mine i ground them down flush. On the backside of the bezels they don't fit the bumper very well either. I put some Duraglass on the back of the bezels layed a piece of wax paper on the bumper the bolted the bezels back on until the duraglass setup.
Perfect thanks. That's what I was thinking about doing. That or making something from scratch out of fiberglass.

The factory bezels don't look like they even came from the same car as the bumpers when you look at them close.
HA! Very true! Just had mine powder coated and was thinking the same thing. Really would love to see some pics of people who trimmed/modded theirs.

Sorry if they are ginormous. This is an extremely rough version without finished edges but it actually fits pretty damn good. The only spot there is a gap is at the top but you literally have to be on your back to see it. I will try to post a couple pictures when I install them. It was a lot more work than it looked to sculpt. I re-rounded the bottom edges also to make them fit closer to the bumper. I also had to take some material away from the thickness to bring it closer also.
