Shift Indicator Light

Tried to change the bulb in the console and there was no bulb or wireing to the place where the shifter light goes am i missing something or how do the wires hook up so i can put a light in there

Mine was like that too. It's a very flimsy set up. The light/wiring falls out of the shifter easily. Look further into the console.......you'll find the wiring hanging there somewhere.
But good luck trying to get it to stay.
