These things are junk. Does anyone make a non plastic replacement?

If not, where can you find a new one. I bumped mine with a jack I was pullin under my car and the plastic snapped at weak point.

Thanks for the help.

I got them

New GM only. They are about 50.00 if I remember correctly. I will be home Tuesday. I can ck then. Or You can call shop and ask Mark.( dont know if he will know where I put them) Tell him you spoke with me today:D

If I remember, the original ones used to break because they were too short. The GM replacements are a few inches longer.
My original snapped on the inside.

I am sorry...

Today was hell day and I missed you today. Will try again tommorrow. Please post or email a phone number as screwy me, lost it. I have the part # and price and cable on my desk. I swear, as I get older I forget alot more.Hopefully this is age and brainoverload and not just me:)

UNGN,

Hey bro, mine broke too during the TC swap. I found a replacement at the Zone for $23 and some change. You might want to check HiLo and Advanced just to cover the pocket-book.

$$$$$$My local GM dealership was way up there as well $$$$$$.

Oh...almost forgot. When you get ready to replace that metal horse-shoe thingy (the one on the driver's side of the tranny to hold the cable snug), bring your 3 pound hammer under the car with you. It's a tight fit. And don't forget the needle nose to save the fingers.

Good luck.
Erik
