shifter not engaging in park

ant ideas ? i can get up under the car and manually shift into park but when i do it from in the car its giving me hell. it was allways a little tricky getting it into park but it would go. broke the trans mount yesterday and now its all out of wack

Not the right shifter cable or something binding.

sound like you have to adjust the linkage that go's to the steering column or the cable is bad.
