Well if anyone has been able to shorten the piping on the spearco intercooler kit. I would appreciate if you could tell me how you did it and If you could send pictures or give specific details. I'm wondering if I can find a way to shorten it more to make it more effective. throw yalls two cents in if yall have any on improving the spearco kit. Its the only ic we have and we need to find a way to make it better.

The new amd maybe improved spearco intercooler

I have not had much testing on this system, but I like the way that my dad and I rigged the spearco up on my 84 gn.

Here's my site.

I think that throttle response is a little better - to greatly improved over the factory spearco system.

The one time I took the car out to the track with the spearco front mount way i ran a 13.79 in street trim 93 octane gas and chip on bfg's.

At the 2002 BG Nats i ran a 13.41 with the new intercooler setup. This run was with a fuel pump that was starting to fail and the car has not been tuned due to the wreck that is shown on the site.

Hope that helps you out some

why?tune the car and it is fine.

i just went 12.85 @ 106 on a 90* day with a 2.0 60'.i was tuning with the knock gauge only(race gas killed the o2)and was lowering the fp every run.never did get any kr.only got 4 runs in,and judging from the tuning i did on the way home:Dit's got a bunch left in it.

sh!t,i'll go mid 12's with a decent 60'.much less good air:).

Improvement.

There is always more room for improvment. right now I'm in the process of gutting out my intake to see how much excess material I can remove. To improve flow.
