"I will only disclose the actual 1/8 mile & 1/4 mile times to the winning bidder..."

What a tool...

holy shyiot

thats a pretty sweet ride! I'm gonna start naming cars we do names like that  ;) :p :D maybe it'll make em worth $220K LOL! sounds a lil weird about not disclosing the timeslips personally I THINK THE DUDE IS SOME RICH BASTARD thats SCARED OF IT:eek:  got a chute on it though (of is that for looks) 150-155 in the 1/4?

it was built to entice people into match races...note the AC Compressor mounted on the engine (it's a dummy made to look real) Also all the dash remains intact with the stardard Corvette accessories. (nothing was left but the switches)

So why put that hokey looking scoop on it AND a parachute? $5000 a piece for the wheels??? Sounds like someone has too much money.

Please tell me those side bars on the roll cage aren't welded to the door sill plates!?

That guy is so full of poop. His match race fantasies were made up in his dreams. He will never get his $$ out of it.

ah man, i just finished reading that, i say its a load of BS.... but thats not to far from me.. maybe i should go offer the guy like 10 bucks? what do ya think?

Since when did 15:1 compression, a .770" lift cam, and over 300 deg of duration EVER become "streetable"?

What a tard..

JUST BARFED ON MY SHOES!!

A 10-year old's idea of a "sweet-ride"...or an adult poser with a head full of "hood" style.

Could be used as a Demolition car if they remake Mad Max, though. :)

More balogna in that ad than a Oscar Mayer truck!

1958 I was present when Don Garlits with his famous SWAMP RAT I broke the 200MPH and 8 second barrier at the old Masters Drag strip in Miami...it was a nitro burning AA fuel dragster.....whats incredible is that this Lunati would beat the original Swamp Rat in a 1/4 today

HOW ABOUT POSSIBLE TRADES????? I have a nice antique car collection....over 300 really nice cars.....

Sign me up.....

Looks to me like a purpose-built all-out DRAG CAR made to look like a street car. Did you note the weight of the car and the year of the original chassis.

I bet it still handles as good as an original Vette too.

I have seen this car a couple of times at corvette events(corvettes at carlisle). The car is stunning.I know the way the ad reads makes it sound kinda phony or silly.I assure you the car is not .Very well done.If memory serves me correctly----the 1/4 mile times listed on the car at that time were 8.8(on some kind of street legal tire--not slicks)Any way the money invested is ridiculous

If that thing goes as fast as said or seen , then with that ricey , prostreet showcar look . I could see being able to get some suckers to money race . I think youd need ALOT of races to recoup 200+K though . :p
