should i change speedo gear?

Im installing a rebult CZ code monte ss trans in my 86 GN, should i change the speedometer gear? i have a BQ 84GN trans i can take the gear from. but the 84 was a digital dash car, i dont know if that matters at all. thanks,

I'd change it since you know your speedometer will be off with the Monte gear. BQ & BR have the same gears regardless of dash style so no problem there.
