Slug in drive

i don't know maybe someone can help me. My car is a slug in drive and it dies when I come to a stop. In first gear it runs like the wind blows I don't get it. Help is greatly appreciated

TCC solenoid bad? Unplug the connector on the side of the trans (the one with 4 pins) and see if it gets better

It's running much better without the connector on the trans WOW!!! these cars are a lot of fun this morning I finally got a chance to feel most of my hard work hit the pavement THANKS!! I'm one step closer to having this baby done.

Its always a great feeling when you find your problem . Make sure you don't run it unplugged for too long as your trans will be running hotter. It's an easy fix though. Worst part is the mess associated with dropping the pan to get to the solenoid (if you don't already have a drain plug).
