I haven't checked the sizes to see if this will fit or worked out how to route the plumbing, but what do you think about one of these filters at the top of the page plumbed inline with the turbo oil feed line? Oil Filters & Mobile Electric Oil Filters The filter elements are available down to 10 microns. I'm considering this to filter my turbo oil without adding the clutter or extra hoses and brackets associated with the usual remote spin on filter products currently available. The only problem I can see is the lack of a bypass in case of a clogged filter, but I don't see it getting to the point of needing one.

RedRegalT's is a nice, but I'm trying to do something a little different that will not have any of the additional plumbing of his setup. If I can hide it behind the turbo or at least by the passenger side valve cover it would be nice.

Hm, I'd be interested to know if that would work out as well. I don't see why not. Obviously less filter area than actually having a whole extra oil filter (like RedRegalT's product), but other than it seems like it would work, at least in theory.

Those are very nice and reasonable in price as well.

Here is what I used, billet version ($$$) listed on the bottom of the page.

Replaceable filters with magnet assembly and new O-ring are about $15 shipped.

It has a bypass too.

-6AN fittings usually used on trannys and power steering fleet applications.

Mid size filter between the two others discussed so far in this thread.
