I have it in my GN and I've been contemplating on putting it in the little WRX. Currenty I have a Cobb stage2 with turbo XS, turboback exhuast. So far so good.

I like that White WRX,,but dont see why all the hype,I was driving my Jimmy and a Blue WRX could not pull away from me,,he had the usuall rice can on the rear...A White Wagan may be cool, without the rice..

A regular WRX is hyped more then it should be.

Picture a BONE stock GN, thats what its like. Only problem is, you cant just crank up the wick as easy.

But it makes a spunky daily driver, and the AWD takes away the fears of breaking tires loose.

This could be "what if'd" to death. My thought is that it was stock. And just like the GN if it was stock look at how many cars could pull it. I must agree I didn't like the WRX when it first came out, then I got a chance to drive one. Well like a month later I bought one.

I must say when stock, and this is a low emissions vehicle, was only a mid-14's car. We I hanked 3 of 4 cats out and put in turbo back exhaust and had the ecu re-flashed, now this is a different car.

What I like about the WRX is that it's simply a fun car to drive that responds VERY well to mods. If you get a chance to ride in one I encourage it.

Happy Holidays

With the cats out - how did that affect your emissions test (if any) - I know I am exempt from the IM240 dyno, but I still have to go in for the "code check" on the OBD2.

How much louder is yours then stock?

Had any warranty work done? Any probs with your mods?

Had to do a clutch yet? How the trans holding up? Any track times, 60'? You doing the usually 4000 rpm and clutch dump to launch it?

My car has 1100 miles, it seems like the pedal has to come up 3-4 inches before the clutch starts to grab. Seems to high to me, but I don't know if there is an adjustment. Any ideas there?

Probably an Automatic. Not Fast, just "Peppy".

Up here in Washington they're only testing cars that are '99 and older. I haven't taken it to the track yet and I've never done a 4K drop.

No warranty problems and only mods are listed above. I do plan on doing an uppipe here shortly when I can decide on the right one.

And exhaust, I LOVE IT!!! The little boxer just sounds sooo BIG. The exhaust is not that loud and near non existant at cruise. I'm not not a big fan of loud exhaust.

Hope that helps.
