Smoking Turbo

I just swapped to a new/used T49 turbo, as well as new/used 42# injectors. But now the new turbo smokes and so does the exhaust. Could it be the fact I never did find out what the rubber rings were in the felpro turbo gasket mounting kit. Another thing I was wondering about, if it could be the that I'm running to much fuel pressure with these injectors.

Was there play in the turbo?

Either way, it sounds like the turbo's oil seals are leaking...needs rebuilt. IMO Some would say just put seals in it, but I bet there are more worn parts in there too.
