So I have this trans and 1500hp

I have to report that the transmission I'm using to propel a 3300lb turbo Regal into the mid 8's is none other than a TH400 Performance Trans built by Bruce.

I'm currently using an Art Carr 8" converter. I have also used an ATI 9"...both of which are flawless in operation.

Kudos to Bruce for building a killer TH400.

And thanks to JWilde for the ArtCarr unit.

I found this post after searching for a 1500hp engine and your thread came up.

I'm imressed over the times your car ran with an idle start!

By the way.... strange sound from the Turbo!

And..... the roumers that Bruce is a VERY good automatic guy have reach Sweden as well!
