spearco on car still a boat

I finally got my intercooler on I mounted it like an 86-87 thanks to wacogn's site(thanks for the idea).When everything was done I took the car out and was very dissapointed.I ran only one tenth faster in the quarter ,I did managed to pick up almost 4 miles an hour though I went 93.36mph still not what I expected,although it was almost 90 degrees out . I also have put on a ta33 since my last time at the track.A thousand bucks for one tenth and a few miles an hour

My question is how well is this thing going to wake up when i tune it(scantool and pump-wires coming soon)I want to go well into the 13son pump gas is this possible and how much faster would the car be if the intercooler was front mount.

like you said,you need to tune it.i ran 13.8 @ 96 right off the street(91 oct,bfg radials)last year in vegas.i dumped in some decent gas and cranked the boost up a little (22 psi) and went 13.2 @ 102.the air sucked (~4000' density)and i never could get it to hook(best 60' 1.89).

it runs a whole lot stronger now that i've tuned it,and i'm in the process of tuning my alky kit.
