Ahhh ha
See the pump, fittings, tank, nozzle, etc all have to be alcohol compatible. Alcohol is very corrossive to stuff left sitting in it. You cannot put alcohol into an aluminum tank.. unless it is anodized.. and if one spot is not anodized.. it will corrode it.
The street=the track. If your happy with the performance from shooting water into the motor.. then why change. What I do is completely different than what Spearco does. Only thing we have in common is both systems put a liquid into the motor.
It gets back to, a windshield washer pump, rubber hose, and a nozzle make an alcohol kit. Once you can get past that.. then you start figuring what it takes to get the job done.
Dont run alcohol through the Spearco, its not designed to do so. And if you rely on it to stop detonation, and it stops spraying, you'll hurt your motor.
You didnt put a link up. I'm working off of memory. But the tank it came with was made of aluminum?
Lastly, I dont know of any turbo-buick running a Spearco kit. I'm not saying its not used, my interaction with this board and communitty, I have never heard of one used. So I cannot say it will/will not fail.
