Hey Everyone,

Was wondering if anyone has had any luck using SpeeHut Gauges, particularly the GPS Speedo. I assume I will have to purchase the casper VSS adapter so that the tranny still sends a signal to the computer with the speed of the car.

Here is the link:

GPS Speedometers Gauge, Revolution Gauges Series by SpeedHut

It would be nice to have a GPS speedo so I would never have to worry about hearing that speedo cable squeek, pluse there are some other cool features about the gauge...like customizable colors and such.

Thanks for looking!

I don't have any first hand experience with them but the local import guys swear by them. Neat looking gauges too. They compared them to the defi gauges but at half the cost.

I know there are 3 people with them me and 2 others and sone will be one more. Dont use the gps the electric speedo is fine and no cable going in to the car you still have to have an electric speed sensor for the VSS and cruz so what 1 ft more of wire to the speedo. The GPS was designed more four guys doing off the wall stuff like with a vw transaxle it has no speedo port and use to get its speed from cable to front wheel. My Bug and My avenger gt40 replica car use the GPS one . check out my web site it will help you out.

I know DJ Red Barron has them on his car. I'm sure he will chime in. His setup looks awesome.

Honestly, The only reason I like the GPS speedo is because of the additional features that it has beyond what the electronic has...otherwise I would go electronic...I wish I had seen these gauges before I bought the current ones for my boat, as these are cheaper and nicer looking than the comparable autometer marine.
