Gents,

Chris here. Got a question for you. I put a TCI TH-350 in my 85 GN. EVerything bolted right up and fit fine but I got a problem. When I bought the car, it had a TH-350 in it. When installing the new one, I used the original speedometer gear (big circular thing that goes into the tranny). TCI gave a new o-ring to put around the housing. Put fluid in the tranny, now it is leaking right where the speedometer cable goes in. Is there suppose to be a seal between the nylon piece that the actual cable slides into and the inner housing? It is dripping out of there and seeping around the coupling that holds the cable into the tranny! I put a seal in there but it still seems to be leaking. Does anyone know why this is or better yet, have one of those gear assemblies I can purchase off of you? Thanks in advance for you help!

Chris

What size is the sleeve into which your speedo gear slides? The big ones have seals available at Napa. The little (~1" o.d.) ones, I think I have a few of.
