Driving home from work I saw a nice T-Type, I was in my truck and when I passed him to turn I saw that it was a turbo car. I've seen 3 other Turbo Regals here in Hope Mills, NC... my 86 GN, and 2 different 87 GN's. The latter guys don't have mods or drive their cars hardly. Anyway I figured I'd give a shot and see if the driver of the T-Type happens to frequent the board...:D

I didn't think they made a brown 86 T-Type. I thought 85 was the last year for brown. If it was an 86, I would say that is a pretty darn RARE car. Would love to know if it was an 86. Anyone hear??

It had the older style grill, and the air dams/ scoop... Maybe it was a hotair conversion??? The car looked to be in good shape paint and body 7 out of 10.

FWIW I had a chestnut metallic 86 t-type, which is fairly close to brown.

Lt. Chestnut Metalic color shown in the pic below. I used to have one too it was an 86 :(
It may be my old car, a guy in Del had it and it was sold about 5 months ago to another guy friend of a friend of his that knew nothing about these cars. Hell the guy did't even know what a turbo was, he liked the car and bought it. Not sure where the car is but I know how to tell if its my old car.

I remember going down to Eddys speed shop in hope mills back in 1998-1999 and seeing a black TR with chrome bumpers and the lear seigler seats at a barber shop. It was for sale at the time. Beautiful car. I liked it there in NC.

theres a barber that works in the shop off of Hope Mills Rd near Raeford Rd, he has an 87 GN, cherry car I wonder if it is the same guy with a differnt ride...
