To block pop-ups, I use the google toolbar. It blocks them all.

I block all pop-ups by disabling ACTIVE SCRIPTING on Internet Explorer. The specific sites I need active scripting to run I simply make those URLs trusted sites. No need for special anti-popup software, no muss, no fuss and never an unwanted pop-up.
