can you guys please tell me exactly what you are doing to keep your car running cool? I have a fmi and a stock radiator.
my car runs to warm, like 210 and up. Is the aluminuim radiator the only way for me to keep my car cool? and how cool will this radiator keep my car and where can i get it, and for how much?

Make sure the radiator is boxed in...I used the stock rubber stuff
and cut it carefully around the FM pipes...also put some type of weatherstripping around the fan where it contacts the radiator...if you look there's a big gap...if you have a stock radiator and have never done anything to it...it's probably clogged up...get it recored with a 3-row HE core...all these things will help...is that temp of 210 with the AC on or off?

You should try a 160 degree thermostat if you dont already have
one. I also have a stock type radiator that was rebuilt using 1/2"
tubes instead of the smaller (3/8" I think) factory tubes, for more
cooling capacity and efficiency.
My car usually runs in the 160-170 degree range on average
summer days, but when the ambient temp gets above 85 or so,
it runs hotter than that, around 180-190.
I dont even like driving the car when it gets that hot though,
cause it seems to struggle with the higher temps.
 COLD AIR:cool:

unless you live where it is always cool, a front mount is going to cause problems unless you go to extremes to correct it...I believe Steve can fill you in on the gory details

and unless you have a mid 10 sec or better car, you can do just as well with a stock location, and run cool on the street.....
