I picked up a Olds Toronado Leather Sport wheel in the junkyard and the leather was in very good condition just needed cleaning (planned on repainting it to match the GN interior anyways). The spokes are brushed like our wheels and were a little rusty but nothing a little elbow grease couldnt handle.

The product I used was Scotchbrite 7446 Grey and simply brushed with the grain and it cleaned it up perfectly. I have used brasso, never dull, etc in the past IMO this works the best.

The paint in the pics has been redone to a darker shade that matches the buick. This was simply a can I had that I tried out. Took some serious scrubbing to get the years of finger grime off the leather to get it prepped for paint. I went over the steering wheel leather with a Scotch brite 7447 Red pad lightly to scuff surface and then wiped down with a prep solvent. Then just 3 mist coats and 1-2 medium.
