okay what carb came on the 78 turbo buick, i know it was a Q-jet but what cfm was it, i have a huge edelbrock the guy stuck on it and it runs like crap, i want to ditch it....remember im doing a blow thru turbo setup. any suggestions?

Q-jets are either 750 or 800 cfm. A 3.8 needs less than 400 cfm.

Can you seal a Q-jet for pressure? I was figureing I would go with a Holley, since I have heard they can be sealed up to 20 psi.

We were going to do a blow thru at first, until we got all of the draw thru system parts, then it just seemed too easy not to draw thru.

With a blow thru the plan was to use a Holley double pumper, because it has mechnucal secondaries and a varity of jeting and other parts. Although, I like the Q-Jets and have rebuilt a few on N/A applications and they work good, in my opinion better that the Holleys. After looking the Q-Jets over I think they could be sealed.
